We provide a unique location on Grantchester Meadows; if it is an accessible and picturesque venue you are looking for close to Cambridge, whether for a wedding reception, corporate event or family party, then look no further. A quintessentially English setting, you can't get a more idyllic location for your special occasion.

Grantchester, a delightful village of thatched cottages and flower-filled meadows, inspired some of the best-known poems by the English poet, Rupert Brooke and is also where the early Pink Floyd spent time and penned their song 'Grantchester Meadows'. Just three miles from Cambridge and les than a mile from Newnham, yet feeling as if it is deep in the countryside, it offers the perfect backdrop for a party, reception, family wedding or corporate hospitality event. Previous guests have arrived by punt, helicopter and hot air balloon, with some adopting medieval themes for their weddings, staging fairgrounds and holding BBQs.

The meadow is located to the rear of the Orchard Tea Rooms in Grantchester at the southern end of Grantchester Meadows. Bought by the Pemberton family in 1921, it is normally frequented by students, visitors and cows, but now it can provide a unique venue for that special occasion. Beside the River Cam, it is accessible either from Millway in Grantchester, or by punt on the river from Cambridge. The site is available to rent all year round, with plenty of private parking on site and additional off-site parking.

For Scouts and Youth Groups in the area we have the "Scout Camp" location on the banks of the River Cam between Trmupington and Grantchester.
