At the Heart of the Community

since 1675

 A Family Business

Since Sir Francis Pemberton bought the 1,000 acre estate in 1675, the Pemberton family have been in the driving seat at Trumpington Estate.

The Estate has gone through many changes over the years, however the family remain constant custodians with the main aim to enhance the landscape while securing it for future generations.

Stewardship throughout the community

Through our grassland management programme we are current custodians to a multitude of open spaces in the local countryside. There are over 12 kilometres of public access routes that meander through estate, ensuring that everyone in the local area can enjoy the wildlife and space around them.

Diversifying the business

The estate has been sustained by diverse income streams throughout the years, from arable crops to livestock management.

Over the past 50 years we have diversified further and now hold a range of properties for private and commercial lettings, provide amenity services for business and private individuals across the local area and participate in several environmental stewardship schemes. This serves to diversify our portfolio and provide liquidity to invest in the most efficient agricultural practices, complimenting our core business.
